About the artwork
The inspiration comes from the beautiful light of the summers in France. This work is a oil painting: size 100 x 140 cm. The work is inspired by the impressionistic paintings of Bonnard. In my studio i found an old catalog of Bonnard from a exposition in 1974. I was taken by the colours he used . This was my inspiration for this painting.
